Cars24 Referral: T&Cs

1. How The Program Works

When you refer Cars24 Australia to your contact and your contact purchases a car from Cars24 Australia using your unique coupon code (given by Cars24 Australia), you may become eligible for referral rewards.

The referee receives $500 off their car purchase at the Cars24 Australia website/app at the time of purchase (subject to eligibility).

The referrer will receive a $500 fuel voucher only after the 30-day test-own period has ended for both the referrer and the referee, and provided all eligibility conditions are met.

2. Completed Referrals and Limit

2.1. A completed referral occurs when a referring user (referrer) refers this program to one of their contacts, and that contact completes a car purchase using the referrer’s unique coupon code, which is not cancelled, disputed, or returned, and retains the vehicle for 30 days after delivery.

2.2. A limit to the number of referrals by referring users may apply.

2.3. All referred people must be new and first-time users. Existing users cannot participate in or benefit from the referral programme.

2.4. You represent that all personal information provided is 100% correct and up-to-date. We may monitor your use of the Referral programme or request identification to verify your identity before issuing rewards.

3. Referral Process

3.1. Referrers must use the unique coupon code provided by Cars24 to refer friends and family.

3.2. Referees must apply the unique coupon code at the time of making their first deposit. If the corresponding coupon code is not applied at that time, Cars24 will not offer a referral retrospectively.

4. Rewards

4.1. Referees will receive a $500 discount on their car purchase made through the referred coupon code. Each referee may purchase only one (1) car via referral.

4.2. Referrers will receive a $500 fuel voucher for every car sold through their referral coupon code, subject to:

• The referee not returning, cancelling, or disputing the car purchase.
• The Referrer not returning, cancelling, or disputing their own car purchase.
• Completion of the 30-day test-own period for both Referrer and referee.

4.3. If the referee returns the car within the applicable return or cool-off period, no Fuel Voucher will be issued to the Referrer.

4.4. If the Referrer returns their own car within the applicable return period, the $500 discount granted to the Referrer under the Referrer’s coupon code will be recovered by Cars24 and deducted from the Referrer’s return amount.

5. Limitations on Referral Rewards

5.1. Referrers may earn a maximum of $3,500 worth of Fuel Vouchers per calendar year. The offer may be extended at Cars24’s discretion.

5.2. Referees may receive a maximum discount of $500 per car purchase.

6. Expiry

6.1. Referral rewards, including fuel vouchers, are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.

7. Restrictions

7.1. This program cannot be combined with other Cars24 referral programs, discounts, vouchers, benefits, or incentives. By participating in this Referral program, we may restrict you from any other promotion, program, discount, or voucher. However, referral programs may be combined with a sale running on the Cars24 platform that is available to the public.

7.2. You must not use referral methods that are bothersome to recipients or violate anti-spam laws.

7.3. You must not publish the Referral program on any sites or platforms containing adult content, alcohol, tobacco, gambling, online casinos, political content, or any illegal activities.

7.4. You must use the Referral program only for personal use and not for commercial purposes.

8. Termination

8.1. We may, at our sole discretion, notify Users that the Referral program has ended with immediate effect.

8.2. We may terminate this Referral program at any time, including your participation or the availability of its benefits.

9. Exclusive Relationship

9.1. You are only a User of our services and products and must not imply any other affiliation with us.

9.2. You are not authorised to legally bind the company.

9.3. You must not create materials containing Cars24 branding or corporate identity.

9.4. By participating, you must not represent yourself as an agent or intermediary of Cars24.

10. Privacy and Information

10.1. All personal information collected will be used in accordance with Cars24’s Privacy Policy.

10.2. You must respect the privacy rights of the people you invite to the Referral program.

10.3. When referring others, you must inform them about the terms and privacy policy before they participate and share their data.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1. Any disputes arising from the Referral programme will be resolved by Cars24, and its decision will be final.

12. Liability

12.1. Cars24 is not responsible for any issues related to fuel vouchers or discounts, including but not limited to redemption, expiration, or loss.

12.2. In cases of suspected fraud, violation, or unreasonable use of the Referral program, Cars24 may cancel rewards at its sole discretion.

12.3. Current or former employees, contractors, or affiliates of Cars24 may be restricted from participating.

12.4. You must comply with all applicable laws and avoid violating third-party rights.

13. Disclaimer and Indemnification

13.1. The Referral program and its benefits are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may be changed or removed at any time.

13.2. Participation in the Referral program does not guarantee any benefit or result.

13.3. You agree to indemnify and hold Cars24 harmless from any claims arising from your participation.

14. No Correspondence, Disputes and Refunds

14.1. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the distribution of discounts, vouchers, or other benefits. These benefits are offered as-is, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.

15. Governing Law

15.1. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

By participating in the Cars24 Australia referral program, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and forfeiture of rewards. Cars24 reserves the right to take legal action against fraudulent or abusive activity.
