The all-new BMW M2 CS has been unveiled as the flagship version of its second-generation BMW M2 coupé. It sits above the regular M2 with upgraded performance, sharper handling, and numerous lightweight components derived from its larger hardcore M siblings, the BMW M3 CS and BMW M4 CS.

Under the bonnet is a motorsport-bred 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six engine, delivering more punch and sharper throttle response than the standard M2.
Key Performance | Specs |
Power | 390kW (up 37kW from standard M2) |
Torque | 650Nm (up 50Nm) |
0–100km/h | 3.8 seconds |
Top Speed | 302km/h (with M Driver’s Package) |
Transmission | ZF 8-speed automatic (rear-wheel drive only) |
It’s also fitted with a specially tuned exhaust system, featuring titanium mufflers and quad tips, promises to deliver a distinct note exclusive to the CS model.
The BMW M2 CS gets M Compound brakes as standard while carbon ceramics are a $19,000 optional extra. It rides on 19-inch front and 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres for extra grip. Since it’s a track-focussed weapon, BMW is kindly offering semi-slick track tyres as a no-cost option.
