Kia’s flagship people-mover, the Carnival, has long been a favourite among Australian families, and the 2025 model year brings even more reasons to consider it. With two new hybrid variants, updated pricing, and a strong focus on practicality, the latest Carnival reinforces its position as one of the most versatile large vehicles on the market.

Hybrid lineup grows: More choices for fuel-conscious buyers

One of the biggest updates for 2025 is the expansion of Kia’s hybrid offerings, now available in three variants (up from just one last year):

  • Carnival S Hybrid ($56,100)
  • Carnival Sport+ Hybrid ($68,330)
  • Carnival GT-Line Hybrid ($76,630)

All hybrids use a 1.6 L turbo-petrol engine paired with an electric motor, producing 180 kW and 366 Nm while achieving an impressive 5.8 L/100km combined fuel economy. That’s a significant improvement over the petrol (9.6 L) and diesel (6.5 L) options, making it a compelling choice for families looking to cut running costs.

Kia Carnival Sport$56,470$58,700
