Australia has confirmed the prices and specifications for the third-generation Audi Q3 SUV and Q3 Sportback. The SUV and the sportback will be available ahead of local showroom arrivals between April and June 2026.

Starting at $61,600 before on-road costs, the new Audi Q3 range will feature a larger body, a new digital interior, expanded safety technology, and a three-engine lineup topped by a 195kW flagship offering “near S-model levels of performance”.

Both the Audi Q3 SUV and Q3 Sportback will launch simultaneously, with the coupe-style Sportback priced $3,000 higher than the equivalent SUV variants. This price is slightly less than before.

At launch, the 2026 Audi Q3 will be offered with three turbo-petrol engines:

  • 110kW 1.5-litre mild-hybrid (front-wheel drive)
  • 150kW 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (quattro all-wheel drive)
  • 195kW 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (quattro all-wheel drive)
  • The entry-level Audi Q3 TFSI 110kW replaces the outgoing 1.4-litre engine with a new 48-volt mild-hybrid system and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, resulting in a $ 2,900 price increase over the previous 35 TFSI.

Plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions offered in Europe with up to 200kW of system output have not yet been confirmed for Australia. Although Audi says they could arrive later in the model cycle.

2026 Audi Q3 size and dimensions

2026 Audi Q3 interior overhaul

Inside, the 2026 Audi Q3 debuts a new-generation digital cabin, headlined by:

  • 12.8-inch MMI touchscreen
  • 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • 10-speaker, 260-watt audio system
  • Wireless phone charging with a cooling fan

Also standard on the base model are power-adjustable front seats with driver memory, adaptive LED headlights with selectable DRL signatures, colour ambient lighting, acoustic front glazing and illuminated Audi rings at the rear, a first for the Audi Q3 in Australia.
All Audi Q3 Sportback variants add S line exterior styling as standard, while the same treatment is applied to higher-output SUV models.

Launch edition models add value-focused upgrades

Audi will offer Launch Edition versions of both the 110kW and 150kW quattro variants, adding a suite of cosmetic and dynamic upgrades.

These include:

  • 19-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels
  • Metallic paint
  • Red brake calipers
  • Black exterior styling package
  • Adaptive dampers
  • Sound actuator

The 110kW SUV Launch Edition also gains S-line exterior styling, helping to close the visual gap to higher-spec variants.

Performance-focused flagship tops the range

Audi Q3

At the top of the line-up sits the Audi Q3 TFSI 195kW quattro, producing 195kW and 400Nm from its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. Sharing its powertrain with the Cupra Terramar VZ and Volkswagen Tiguan 195TSI R-Line, the flagship Q3 claims a 0–100km/h time of 5.7 seconds, which Audi says delivers “near S-model levels of performance”.

Standard equipment on the 195kW variant includes:

  • 20-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels
  • Adaptive dampers
  • Panoramic glass sunroof
  • Head-up display
  • Heated sport steering wheel
  • 12-speaker, 420-watt Sonos sound system

Priced from $81,900, it undercuts Audi’s own RS models but sits $8410 above the Terramar VZ and $10,350 more than the Tiguan R-Line, positioning it firmly as a premium performance option.

When does the 2026 Audi Q3 arrive in Australia?

Audi Q3

The 2026 Audi Q3 SUV and Sportback are due to arrive in Australian showrooms between April and June 2026. Further details, such as option packages, colour choices, and full equipment breakdowns, will be confirmed closer to launch.

Key takeaways for buyers

Audi Q3

The upcoming Audi Q3 is a clear upgrade! The dimensions have increased, the interior has been comprehensively improved, and the safety has been enhanced. Performance has improved, with a 195kW variant that adds genuine pace to the range. However, the price increase and the absence of electrified options at launch could deter buyers and limit the audience. Particularly now, as EVs and hybrids continue to move into the mainstream in Australia.
