The 2026 Leon Ve PHEV joins Cupra Australia’s growing electrified lineup and forms part of the refreshed Leon hatch range launched in late 2025. It is designed, developed and built in Barcelona and introduces Cupra’s latest second-generation plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology in a unique 150kW configuration.
Cupra says the new model, priced at $62,990 (without on-roads), is aimed at drivers who want strong performance, stylish European design, everyday electric driving capability and long-distance flexibility without full EV commitment.
CUPRA Australia Head of Product, Jeff Shafer, said the Leon Ve represents the next step in the brand’s local electrification strategy. He added, “The Leon Ve perfectly captures what Cupra stands for: performance, design and electrification with emotion.”

The 2026 Leon Ve PHEV is available to order now, and the deliveries begin in June 2026.
