The most expensive BYD Group vehicle ever sold in Australia has been confirmed, with the 2026 Denza B8 priced from $91,000 plus on-road costs ahead of first local deliveries in late February 2026.

A ladder-frame, full-size 4WD with hybrid performance, the B8 introduces BYD’s premium Denza sub-brand to Australia. It arrives as a new electrified alternative to heavy-hitters like the Nissan Patrol and Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series, while undercutting both on price.

At 5195mm long and up to 3290kg in kerb weight, it is bigger than a LandCruiser 300 Series, and claims 3500kg braked towing, a first for any BYD-affiliated model sold locally.
