Chinese automaker GAC has confirmed Australian pricing and specifications for its new Aion UT electric hatchback, with the compact EV now available to order from $31,990 (RRP). The Aion UT becomes the 4th model in the brand’s growing Australian lineup and is positioned as an affordable, city-friendly electric vehicle aimed at urban buyers.
The 2026 GAC Aion UT competes in Australia’s rapidly growing entry-level electric hatchback segment with rivals such as BYD Dolphin, MG4 Electric, and GWM Ora.

GAC Australia is offering a limited pre-order driveaway price offer running from 12 March to 9 April 2026 to mark the launch. Pre-order customers will also receive bonus charging equipment, including a 10A portable charger and a 22kW wall charger. The offer is limited to the first 600 vehicles.
Test drive competition
GAC is also running a promotion during the launch period where anyone who test drives a GAC vehicle will be automatically entered into a competition. The prize is one of the two Aion UT trims.

I thought we'd see price of 25k drive away no more to pay. But no.??? If i proceed will have to focus on level of cabin snd road noise. And must have fast android auto and speaker requests to navigate. Dont want to type that in.. at all . Voice calls out and in must be able to access contact lists
