This premium, new mid-size electric SUV brings updated styling, interior upgrades, and more driving range, while keeping its core design and performance more or less the same.

The Kia EV6 continues with its wide, horizontal cabin layout. Its interior features a few changes, including a new steering wheel design, an updated centre console, and fingerprint recognition on the GT-Line and GT variants.

The dual 12.3-inch curved screens now run an updated Kia ccNc infotainment software. This new software brings improved graphics, Wireless Apple CarPlay, Wireless Android Auto (for all variants), and Kia Connect.

Kia Connect offers safety and security features, remote vehicle functions, and improved convenience and connectivity. Moreover, over-the-air (OTA) software updates allow the Kia EV6 to receive updates without visiting a dealer.

Kia EV6 in Australia

Kia EV6, a premium performance flagship e-SUV, saw a major sales slump in 2025, like its sibling brand’s (Hyundai) Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6. Kia EV6 sales in Australia fell by 80.5% compared to 2024, in a highly competitive Australian EV market.
