MG has officially launched the all-electric 2026 MG S6 EV in Australia, and it is on sale now with prices starting at $49,990 (driveaway). This new mid-size family SUV with up to 530km of range is designed to compete directly with some of the hottest EVs on the market, including the Tesla Model Y, BYD Sealion 7 and Geely EX5.

Positioned between the smaller MG S5 EV and the more premium MG IM6 in the brand’s growing electric lineup, the MG S6 EV arrives with sharp pricing, long driving range, generous practicality and a surprisingly premium equipment list.

MG says the SUV has been designed specifically for Australian families looking for a stylish, practical and technology-focused EV that can comfortably handle school runs, commuting and long weekend trips.
