Mitsubishi Motors Australia has announced pricing and specifications for the all-new 2025 Mitsubishi ASX, which will hit the showrooms from the fourth quarter of 2025, so likely in October. The popular small SUV returns with a new platform borrowed from Renault, modern styling, more efficient powertrains, and upgraded technology.

Mitsubishi claims the downsize from the 2-litre petrol engine of the previous-generation ASX comes with a 16 percent increase in fuel efficiency and a notable drop in carbon emissions.

The 2026 ASX is based on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi CMF-B platform and comes with Mitsubishi’s ‘Dynamic Shield’ design. Key styling cues include a bold front grille, which is the primary differentiator from the Renault Captur, along with full LED lighting and C-shaped rear lights.
