Even though Porsche is reconsidering its EV plans globally, the electric vehicle portfolio expansion for the immediate timeline is still underway. The latest debut is the first all-electric model to wear the storied GTS badge: the Macan GTS, positioned as a more driver-focused, sporty variant in the electric Macan lineup.
This new model slots into the Porsche Macan EV range, offering a balance between the standard models and the top-tier Macan Turbo, with a particular emphasis on handling and a distinctive, darkened aesthetic that has long been a GTS trademark for Porsches.
Australia pricing and inclusions
The Porsche Macan GTS is now available to order in Australia, priced from $171,100 (before on-road costs). Australian-delivered cars also come with additional standard features such as the tyre fit set, electric charge port door, and power steering plus.
Please note that the prices are inclusive of the GST and LCT but exclude dealer delivery, registration, and other statutory costs. Final drive-away pricing can be configured via Porsche’s online tool.

A performance-focused EV SUV
The 2026 Porsche Macan GTS uses a dual-motor setup producing 380kW, boosted to 420kW and 955Nm in overboost mode with Launch Control. Porsche claims a 0–100km/h time of 3.8 seconds, compared to the claimed 3.3 seconds for the top-spec Macan Turbo EV.
Power for those motors comes from a 100kWh lithium-ion battery, offering 270kW DC fast-charging capability. Porsche says a 10–80 per cent charge can take as little as 21 minutes at a compatible charger. Meanwhile, a 150kW DC fast charger can get you the same top-up in 33 minutes.
Official range figures have not yet been released, but the Macan 4S and Turbo sit around 616–619km (NEDC), suggesting similar capability for the GTS.

Compared with the previous petrol-powered Porsche Macan GTS (324kW/550Nm, 4.3 sec), the new electric model delivers a substantial performance gain and instant torque response, though at a higher starting price than before.

True to Porsche’s GTS DNA, the new Macan EV variant places a stronger emphasis on suspension tuning and agility rather than outright straight-line numbers.
