Ford Australia has officially revealed the full specifications and accessory line-up for the upcoming 2026 Ranger Super Duty, confirming its position as a heavy-duty workhorse tailored for farmers, tradies, fleets, and adventurers.
The new model will arrive in early 2026, and Ford is offering an extensive range of factory-backed accessories, all engineered and tested in-house, and covered by a five-year warranty when fitted by a dealer prior to delivery.
Heavy-duty tray takes centre stage
At the heart of the accessory catalogue is the new Super Duty steel tray, carrying the Super Duty nameplate.
- Bolted construction – allows chassis flexibility compared to welded bodies, reducing stress when carrying heavy loads.
- Heavy-duty mount kit – unique to Super Duty, tested to withstand maximum payloads.
- Load security – lashing rings rated up to 400kg each, integrated taillight protectors, rope rails, and quick-lock drop-sides.
- Durability – moulded mudguards resist stone chipping and corrosion, while upgraded hinges allow fast removal of drop sides.
Ford says the tray has undergone accelerated durability testing at its proving grounds, making it the only tray rated for Super Duty payloads.

Ranger Super Duty exclusive -DPF regeneration
A new feature exclusive to the Ranger Super Duty is manual Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration control in the hands of the owners.
- Drivers can disable automatic regeneration and manually initiate a DPF burn.
- Useful for short trips or sensitive worksites where regeneration cannot be completed.
- A warning will appear once the DPF reaches 70% capacity, but the system will not initiate automatically.
Ford says this gives operators greater control over emissions management and avoids unnecessary downtime.
