Ford has unveiled the prices and market-specific details for the toughest Ranger yet for Australian buyers – the 2026 Ford Ranger Super Duty. Engineered as a ready‑made workhorse for mining, construction and serious off‑road tourers, the new cab‑chassis derivative is built to be tougher and more capable than anything else in the segment.

Pricing and body styles
Variant | Body style | MLP¹ (inc. GST) |
Ranger Super Duty Single Cab‑Chassis | 4×4 | $82,990 |
Ranger Super Duty Super Cab‑Chassis | 4×4 | $86,490 |

Driveaway costs for the Ford Ranger Super Duty can easily reach the $100,000 mark which is certainly a premium over the regular Ranger variants. For reference, the entry point for the regular Ford Ranger with the same V6 diesel engine is the Ranger XLT Dual Cab Cab-chassis 4XD which is priced at $66,940 (before on-road costs) and that includes a general all purpose alloy tray.
Accessory trays
Ford will offer three steel trays as dealer‑fit official accessories for the Ranger Super Duty lineup. The recommended fitted price for the various finishes, depending on the body type, is listed below:
Body type | Galvanised Silver | Body-colour | Matte-black |
Single cab | $7,121 | $8,331-$8,826 | $9,376 |
Super cab | $6,296 | $7,561-$7,056 | $8,551 |
Double cab | $5,966 | $7,176-$7,671 | $8,166 |
The prices for the body-colour tray vary depending on the paint colour selected for the ute.

Paint colours
Ford is offering the following shades for the new Ranger Super Duty:
- Seismic Tan (exclusive to Super Duty)
- Arctic White (standard)
- Shadow Black
- Command Grey
- Aluminium Metallic
- Traction Green (available early 2026 with XLT and Pickup variants)

All but Arctic White carry a prestige-paint surcharge.
Powertrain and emissions
Engine | 3.0‑litre V6 turbo‑diesel |
Power | 154 kW @ 3,250 rpm |
Torque | 600 Nm @ 1,750 rpm |
Transmission | 10‑speed auto |

The highly capable Ford Ranger Super Duty workhorse will only be offered with the one engine option – the turbo-diesel V6. While also available with the regular Ranger as well (with an extra 30kW of power), this engine uses a special calibration to comply with EUVI, retaining full torque while running cooler thanks to a 25 per cent larger radiator.
