GWM has officially confirmed pricing and specifications for the all-new Haval H7, expanding its SUV line-up in Australia. Priced from $46,990 drive-away, the medium-sized hybrid SUV will arrive in local showrooms in August 2025.

The new H7 debuts exclusively in the Vanta grade, featuring GWM’s signature all-black styling and a rugged new design aimed at families and adventurers alike.

GWM Haval H7 exterior design

GWM’s new Haval H7 leans into a boxier, more upright design than the GWM H6 which is based on the same platform, giving the H7 a more rugged SUV presence on the road. Key styling cues like the squared-off front fascia and round LED headlights help set it apart, aiming for a tougher, more assertive look.

Exclusively offered in the Vanta grade, the H7 gets the full blackout treatment—everything from the grille and badging to the window trims and roof rails is finished in black. It rides on 19-inch machined alloy wheels, which add to its bold stance. While the styling may not appeal to everyone, GWM is clearly targeting buyers who want something a little more angular and distinctive in the medium SUV segment.

Buyers will still be able to choose from a range of exterior colours, including Hamilton White, Dusk Orange, Moon Grey and Golden Black. A premium paint surcharge of $495 applies to select colours.

GWM Haval H7 interior design

Inside, the Haval H7 adopts a functional layout that appears to prioritise space, flexibility, and in-cabin tech. The five-seat medium SUV offers a roomy cabin, with its boxy proportions contributing to ample head and shoulder room.

One notable addition is the removable boot floor, which can be used as a picnic table, a unique feature in this segment. The flat load area and flexible storage options suggest GWM has targeted the H7 at families and buyers with active lifestyles.

The dashboard features a large central touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster, complemented by a head-up display that projects key driving information. A panoramic sunroof comes standard, adding natural light and a greater sense of space.

Connectivity is facilitated via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while passengers enjoy multiple charging points and rear air vents.
