Kia has unveiled three new high-performance electric vehicles at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show. Following the success of the Kia EV6 GT will be the EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT, the next evolution of its GT lineup.
The trio brings Kia’s performance-focused GT badge to new segments, including compact SUV, hatchback, fastback, and C-SUV categories. It highlights the brand’s focus on blending emotional driving character with advanced, software-driven electric-vehicle technology.
According to Kia, the new GT models are designed to deliver driving excitement without sacrificing everyday usability, pairing dynamic hardware upgrades with a growing EV GT digital ecosystem that includes GT-exclusive drive modes, electronically controlled chassis systems, performance-themed soundscapes and personalised interfaces.
Soohang Chang, President and CEO of Kia Europe, said, “Our new electric Kia GT models prove that electrification can be emotional and resolute.”
“They combine the instant responsiveness of electric power with sporty character and all-purpose capability.”
Kia EV3 GT

The Kia EV3 GT brings Kia’s performance badge to the compact SUV segment, combining upright proportions and everyday practicality with sportier dynamics.
GT-specific suspension tuning, larger wheels and performance tyres are designed to enhance grip and cornering confidence, while visual upgrades remain subtle, in line with Kia’s restrained GT design approach.
Inside, the Kia EV3 GT features semi-bucket front seats inspired by the EV9 GT, a three-spoke steering wheel, lime-green GT accents throughout the cabin, and ambient lighting linked to drive modes.
Kia EV3 GT key specifications

| Specification | Kia EV3 GT |
| Drivetrain | Dual-motor AWD |
| Power output | 215kW (145kW front / 70kW rear) |
| Battery | 81.4kWh |
| 0–100km/h | 5.7 seconds |
| Wheels and tyres | 20-inch alloys, 245/40 Pirelli P Zero |
| Suspension | Electronically controlled, GT-tuned |
A dedicated GT drive mode recalibrates power delivery, steering response, suspension behaviour and digital displays for a more focused driving experience. Both vehicles also introduce Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) technology and active sound design, which simulate the tactile and auditory sensations of a combustion-powered performance car.
Currently, the EV3 is sold in Australia only with a single-motor front-wheel-drive setup, making the GT a significant performance step-up if it is offered locally.
Kia EV4 GT

The Kia EV4 GT uses the same EV3 GT hardware in lower, more road-focused hatchback and fastback body styles, positioning it as the most dynamically oriented model in the trio.
Thanks to its sleeker shape, the EV4 GT is also marginally quicker in a straight line, while its lower centre of gravity is expected to deliver a more agile driving feel.
The cabin mirrors the Kia EV3 GT’s performance theme, with semi-bucket sport seats, GT-specific trim highlights and a dedicated interface design when GT mode is activated.
Kia EV4 GT key specifications

The standard Kia EV4 sedan is already on sale in Europe, with the South Korean-built model expected to launch in Australia in 2026, though pricing and local specifications are yet to be confirmed.
Kia EV5 GT

The Kia EV5 GT extends Kia’s GT treatment into the C-SUV class, blending performance upgrades with the versatility expected of a family-sized SUV.
Positioned notably above the Kia EV3 GT and Kia EV4 GT, the EV5 GT receives a slightly more powerful drivetrain, along with a more sophisticated chassis setup that includes electronically controlled suspension with a road-preview system.
Although the EV5 GT’s power output is marginally lower than the existing top-trim EV5 AWD sold in Australia, Kia says the focus has shifted toward balance, ride control and everyday drivability rather than outright acceleration.

When will it come to Australia?
Production of the Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT is scheduled to commence in Q2 2026. While Kia has confirmed full technical details for all three models, Australian availability has yet to be confirmed.
Kia Australia had previously confirmed the standard EV3 and EV5 for the local market. However, it remains unclear if the GT variants will join them. More information is expected closer to their launch.
The heritage of Kia GT

The GT badge has represented Kia’s performance ambitions for more than a decade, first appearing on the Ceed GT and ProCeed GT in 2013. This philosophy evolved with the launch of the Stinger GT in 2017, before entering the electric era with the EV6 GT in 2022.
The Kia EV6 GT went on to win the 2023 World Performance Car of the Year, while the Kia EV9 GT has since extended Kia’s performance focus into the large SUV segment.
With the Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT, Kia is now broadening that GT DNA into smaller, more accessible electric-vehicle segments.
