Mercedes-Benz Australia has added two limited-edition E-Class variants to its local lineup, each taking a distinct approach to the executive sedan segment. It also reinforces the clear distinction between the two nameplates, with Mercedes-Benz focusing on premium luxury vehicles, while AMG continues to push high-performance, motorsport-inspired engineering that consistently accounts for a significant share of local sales.

Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Night Edition
The E 300 AMG Night Edition takes the regular E-Class sedan and injects it with a more aggressive and sport-focused personality. It has blacked-out exterior detailing and darkened door sill trims that continue the theme inside the cabin.
Mercedes-Benz has fitted 21-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels and finished in black with a high-sheen surface for the first time on an E 300 model. The result is a more athletic-looking E-Class.
Smooth hybrid power and long-distance comfort
It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, which is paired with a mild-hybrid (MHEV) system and combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Unlike the E 53’s PHEV system, the mild-hybrid in the E 300 does not offer electric-only driving
Mercedes says the mild-hybrid system improves low-speed smoothness and efficiency, while the suspension tuning prioritises comfortable cruising, urban drivability, and long-distance refinement.

- 12.3-inch passenger display
