Omoda Jaecoo is set to headline the upcoming 2026 Beijing Auto Show, marking the brand’s third anniversary with a strong focus on electrification and smart vehicle tech.
The event will run from April 24 to May 3, 2026, where the brand plans to display its latest New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) alongside advanced driver assistance features.
Valet Parking Driver (VPD) tech in focus
A key highlight will be the Valet Parking Driver (VPD) system, designed to automate parking in real-world scenarios.
Visitors at the show will be able to experience this feature through live demonstrations, with multiple parking environments set up to showcase its everyday usability and global application.
New SHS-H hybrid system introduced
Omoda Jaecoo is expanding its electrified lineup with a new parallel hybrid system, known as:
- SHS-H (Super Hybrid System – Hybrid Electric Vehicle)
Unlike plug-in hybrids, this system does not require external charging, offering improved convenience for daily use.
The SHS-H powertrain will be rolled out across key models, including:
- Omoda 5
- Jaecoo J5
- Jaecoo J7
To validate real-world performance, these hybrid models will undergo a long-distance endurance test during the show (April 25–26), covering varied driving conditions.
Omoda 4 returns with ‘Cyber Mecha’ design
The Omoda 4 will make another appearance after its initial reveal at the 2025 Chery International User Summit.
Targeted at younger buyers, the Omoda 4 features:
- A bold “Cyber Mecha” design language

- A focus on personalised mobility
Notably, the first production model is scheduled to roll off the assembly line on April 26, 2026, signalling its transition from concept to reality.
