Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Australia will recall 95 Range Rover Sport SUVs from the 2023–2026 model years over a structural defect in the rear subframe that could increase the risk of serious injury or death in a rear-end collision. The recall also includes high-performance SV variants.

What’s the defect, and why is it so serious?

A manufacturing issue may have caused cracks to develop in the rear subframe of the SUV, and these cracks could worsen over time, weakening the vehicle’s structure.

If a vehicle with a cracked rear subframe suffers a rear-end collision, its reduced structural strength could increase the risk of serious injury or death to occupants.
