Škoda has detailed a limited-run First Edition version of its newly unveiled Epiq electric SUV, introducing exclusive design elements, additional standard equipment and the model’s most powerful drivetrain shortly after the EV’s global debut.
Based on the Selection trim, the Škoda Epiq First Edition builds on the standard compact electric SUV with a range of cosmetic upgrades inside and out, while also adopting the Epiq 55 powertrain as standard. The launch edition is expected to arrive shortly after the Epiq enters international markets.
The Epiq recently made its world premiere in Zurich, Switzerland, becoming Škoda’s most affordable electric vehicle and introducing the brand’s new-generation design direction and EV-focused technology package.
Exclusive exterior details distinguish the First Edition

The First Edition separates itself visually from the standard Epiq lineup through several exclusive styling elements, many of which are finished in Navajo Orange.
Orange accents appear on the wing mirror caps, trim above the side windows, wheel-cover detailing and the surrounds of the vertical bumper openings at both the front and rear. Škoda says these additions are intended to give the compact EV a more playful and youthful appearance.
The special edition also receives a contrasting black roof as part of its two-tone exterior finish, alongside black roof rails and exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels. A dedicated First Edition badge mounted on the tailgate further differentiates the variant from the rest of the Epiq range.
Škoda has confirmed the Epiq First Edition will be available in five exterior paint colours globally.
Interior gains sporty design touches

Inside, the Škoda Epiq First Edition continues the orange-accent theme with contrast stitching across the seats and dashboard, complemented by orange seat belts designed to create a more distinctive cabin atmosphere.
Additional upgrades include a three-spoke sports steering wheel with orange stitching and a First Edition badge, a black headlining, sports pedal covers and decorative door sills. Together, the additions give the otherwise minimalist EV cabin a noticeably sportier character.
The interior continues Škoda’s broader focus on practical packaging and simplified digital layouts introduced with the standard Epiq.
Škoda Epiq 55 powertrain delivers 155kW and 440km range

From a technical standpoint, the First Edition uses the Epiq 55 configuration, positioning it as one of the more powerful versions within the upcoming Epiq lineup.
The single electric motor produces 155kW and 290Nm, while energy is supplied by a 55kWh battery pack. Škoda claims a driving range of around 440 kilometres.
Charging performance is also a key focus, with the battery capable of charging from 10 to 80 per cent in approximately 24 minutes under suitable DC fast-charging conditions.
Convenience and technology packages included as standard

The Epiq First Edition also benefits from a broader list of standard equipment compared to regular variants. Škoda says the model includes both the Convenience Package and Tech Package as standard equipment, although full market-specific specifications are yet to be confirmed.
Buyers will additionally be able to option the Travel Package and Light & View Package, expanding the vehicle’s driver-assistance, lighting and comfort features further.
Potential Australian arrival remains unconfirmed

While Škoda Australia has yet to officially confirm local timing for the Epiq or the First Edition variant, the compact electric SUV could become an important addition to the brand’s future EV plans locally. As Australia’s affordable EV segment continues to expand, smaller electric SUVs with practical packaging and competitive pricing are becoming increasingly important for mainstream brands.
The Epiq First Edition, meanwhile, appears designed to generate early interest in the model through more distinctive styling and higher standard specification ahead of the broader rollout of the Epiq lineup globally.
