Subaru is stepping into uncharted territory literally with its all-new Uncharted electric SUV. The brand calls it a Sport Electric Vehicle (SEV), which blends its SUV heritage with high-performance electric driving.
The company is building on its history of innovation, including pioneering the small SUV segment with the XV in 2012. Subaru says the Uncharted is dynamic, fun, fearless, and unmistakably Subaru.
The Australian arrival is expected in mid-2026, and pricing, final specs, and exact on-sale timing will be confirmed closer to launch.

Electric power meets AWD DNA
The real SUV capability of the Uncharted remains intact, and it doesn’t forget its off-road roots. It has a 211mm ground clearance and features X-Mode and Downhill Assist Control.
“Decades of engineering, Symmetrical AWD and a low centre of gravity all come together to create a drive that’s more engaging, more connected and genuinely fun, with the control and confidence you expect from us,” said Scott Lawrence, Subaru Australia General Manager.
