More motorsport-inspired upgrades

The Aero Performance Package draws on Toyota’s experience in rallying and Super Taikyu racing. Toyota says the upgrades are designed to make the GR Yaris look more dynamic while providing functional benefits.
Key features of the package include:
- Hood cooling duct and grille
- Manually adjustable rear spoiler
- New front lip spoiler
- Front fender ducts
- Rear bumper side ducts
- New floor undercover

The new lip spoiler and rear bumper side ducts are directly borrowed from Toyota’s learnings in Super Taikyu racing, expanding the GR Yaris’ connection beyond its successful run in the WRC.
GR Yaris GTS features
The Aero Performance Package is only available on the GTS grade of the Toyota hot hatch, which also includes the following performance enhancements:

- Torsen® limited-slip differential
- High-performance suspension
- 18-inch forged alloy wheels with Michelin® Pilot Sport 4S tyres
- Red GR brake calipers
All GR Yaris models are powered by the G16E-GTS 1.6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine, producing 221kW of power and 400Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic, with power sent to all four wheels via an adjustable AWD system. Both transmission options are available with the Aero Performance Package.
Toyota’s statement
Sean Hanley, Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Franchise Operations at Toyota Australia, said the package demonstrates how motorsport experience influences production cars.
“These upgrades make the GR Yaris even more potent, helping to increase grip, braking and overall performance, while also adding visual flair,” Hanley said.
