Ford Australia is celebrating its centenary in 2025, which now includes Australia Post issuing a limited-edition stamp collection to honour the milestone.

The collection features four Ford vehicles that have played a key role in Australian motoring history, from the first locally assembled Model T to the final Falcon XR8.
The cars featured

Each of the four stamps has a face value of $1.70 and showcases a different Ford model:
- Model T (1925): The first Ford produced in Geelong, regarded as the car that made motoring accessible to Australians.
- XP Falcon (1965): Famous for a 112,000 km durability test at Ford’s You Yangs proving ground. The XP was also the first Australian car to win the Wheels Car of the Year award.
- XA Falcon GT (1972): The first fully Australian-designed Falcon. Known for Bathurst racing success and its “coke-bottle” styling.
- FG X Falcon XR8 (2014–2016): The final V8-powered Falcon built at Broadmeadows, marking the end of local Falcon production.
The designs were created by Sharon Rodziewicz of the Australia Post Design Studio and illustrated by Hughes Motorsport Art. The stamps also feature black-and-white images of Ford’s Broadmeadows factory by photographer Wolfgang Sievers.
Australia Post and Ford statements

Australia Post described the release as a tribute to Ford’s century-long presence in Australia, acknowledging both the cars and the people who built them.
Ford Australia noted that the stamps serve as a reminder of its heritage while highlighting the role its vehicles have played in the country’s automotive culture.
