Chinese carmaker Leapmotor has unveiled the upgraded 2026 C10 Design Long-Range (LR) EV in Australia, bringing significant improvements in range, performance and charging capability while maintaining its sharp starting price of $49,888 before on-road costs.
The new C10 Design LR EV introduces a larger 81.9kWh battery and an advanced 800V high-voltage architecture compared to its previous-generation C10, which launched locally in late 2024. The C10 competes in Australia’s growing medium electric SUV segment against rivals such as the Tesla Model Y, BYD Sealion 7, Kia EV5 Air, and Xpeng G6.
