The 2026 Nissan X-Trail is available in ST, ST-L, Ti, and Ti-L variants, and buyers can choose from 2 powertrain options and 5-seat or 7-seat layouts. This is one of the best-selling models for the brand in the competitive medium SUV segment.

The MY26 X-Trail continues to offer Nissan’s e-Power hybrid system. Unlike traditional hybrids, the wheels in this system are driven only by an electric motor, and the petrol engine works as a generator. There is no external charging required.

e-POWER models can also come with e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system and intelligent torque control for better traction and stability. This system is designed for smooth and quiet driving, with strong acceleration response.
Connected Car Technology (CCS 1.0)

For the first time, Connected Car Services are standard across the entire Nissan X-Trail range. Its features include:

Refreshed exterior design
The refreshed X-Trail features a new front grille (V-Motion design), redesigned front and rear bumpers and updated LED lighting. It also has new 18-inch and 19-inch wheel designs (on selected grades).
Color options
The new X-Trail introduces 2 new exterior colours and a different interior colour palette for top-tier models. Buyers now have new colour options: Deep Ocean Blue and Everest White.
The following colours continue from the previous model: Scarlet Ember, Diamond Black, Gun Metallic, Champagne Silver (Typically excludes ST grade), and Ceramic Grey (Typically excludes ST grade).
For the high-spec Ti and Ti-L grades, the Everest White, Deep Ocean Blue, Ceramic Grey, and Champagne Silver (for e-Power variants) can be paired with a contrasting black roof. A new Chestnut Nappa leather interior colour option is available for the Ti-L grade, which replaces “Tan”.
The upper dashboard and door trims are now fully black instead of brown in black interior models.

Interior feature updates
The cabin of the refreshed X-Trail now includes:
- A new steering wheel design
- Genuine leather-accented trim on the ST-L grade (replaces synthetic leather)
- 10-way power adjustment for the front passenger seat in ST-L
- 2-way lumbar support for the passenger seat (now matches the driver’s seat)
- Wireless phone charging (now standard)
- NissanConnect Services (CCS 1.0)
- 12.3-inch screen in entry-level ST variants (up from 8 inches)
