Xpeng Motors Australia has officially opened reservations for the updated 2026 Xpeng G6 Ultra Smart Coupe SUV, ahead of its arrival in showrooms during July 2026.

The new G6 range gets two new Performance variants and brings updated styling, upgraded technology, faster charging capability and greater model choice.

The latest Xpeng G6 is built on Xpeng’s 800V high-voltage architecture and introduces 5C ultra-fast charging. This capability allows a 10 to 80% DC recharge in as little as 12 minutes under test conditions.

The G6 enters Australia’s increasingly competitive mid-size electric SUV segment, where it will compete against rivals such as the Tesla Model Y, BYD Sealion 7 and Zeekr 7X.

Damian Royce, Head of Marketing at Xpeng ANZ, said, “The new G6 is an important step for Xpeng in Australia. It brings sharper design, faster charging, advanced technology and a stronger model line-up to customers looking for a premium electric SUV that feels genuinely next generation.”
