Audi Australia has confirmed pricing and specifications for the 2027 Q4 e-tron, and it has gone on sale four months after revealing the facelifted electric SUV. The first Australian deliveries are due in the first half of 2027 and buyers who order a quattro variant this year will also receive a complimentary six-year/90,000km service plan.
The upcoming Q4 e-tron is a major mid-cycle facelift based on the Volkswagen Group’s dedicated MEB electric skateboard platform, and this fully electric, premium crossover SUV is Audi’s most accessible entry point into the EV market.
The new lineup features a radical upgrade from the initial version introduced locally in 2024 and focuses heavily on affordability, advanced features, and a major technology reshuffle. The entry point drops by $13,000, while the quattro models are up to $18,000 cheaper than their predecessors.
Pricing: the 2027 Q4 e-tron facelift is cheaper now
Australia will receive all four Q4 e-tron variants, the same as the global market, which are differentiated by drivetrain and body styling, sometime in the first half of 2027. The updated Audi Q4 e-tron variants show double-figure price drops across the lineup compared to the outgoing first-generation models.
This means buyers are insulated from the 33% Luxury Car Tax (LCT) and private buyers can also claim the Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) exemption.

Audi Q4 e-tron: base model gets extensive equipment
The MY27 range starts with the 2027 Audi Q4 e-tron 150kW, which, like the older model, comes in both SUV and Sportback body styles. It’s a rear-wheel-drive model that uses a 150kW/350Nm electric motor and a 63kWh gross battery capacity, with 59kWh usable.
This is a major change from the previous 45 e-tron, which produced 210kW and 545Nm and used an 82kWh battery with 77kWh usable and quoted 524-540km of WLTP range.

Audi Q4 e-tron quattro: gets more range and power
The Q4 e-tron quattro remains the top of the range and is also available as an SUV or Sportback; its dual-motor system produces 250kW and 545Nm and helps it accelerate from 0-100km/h in 5.4 seconds.
The larger 82kWh battery, with 77kWh usable, now provides 494km of WLTP range for the SUV and 509km for the Sportback, clearly longer than the previous figures of 488-503km.
DC charging also improves; the battery can be manually or automatically preconditioned before charging and both models support bidirectional charging.

Six colour options and five-year warranty
The 2027 Q4 e-tron range will be available in six exterior colours: Pebble Grey, Mythos Black Metallic and Glacier White Metallic continue from the previous range and Tambora Grey Metallic, Plasma Blue Metallic and Sage Green Metallic are new.
The Q4 e-tron continues with a five-year, unlimited-kilometre new-vehicle warranty and a 12-year manufacturer’s warranty against bodywork corrosion perforation.
The Q4 e-tron family landed Down Under in late 2024 as a 2025 model-year vehicle and marked a major milestone as Audi’s first EV priced under the $100,000 Luxury Car Tax threshold.
As the early models faced some critique over cabin plastics and aging cabin tech compared to new luxury rivals, Audi is bringing the 2027 lineup. The facelift overhauls the interior architecture with premium, upmarket materials, a sharper digital aesthetic, and significantly faster processing tech.
