Mercedes-Benz has confirmed the updated 2027 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will arrive in Australia during the fourth quarter of 2026. The iconic brand has also revealed additional details following its initial reveal in March 2026.
Its Australian pricing and final specifications remain unconfirmed, but the company unveils more details about the flagship limousine’s design, cabin technology, comfort features, engines and extensive personalisation program.
Production of the updated model began at Mercedes-Benz’s Sindelfingen plant in April 2026.
2027 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class pricing
The pricing for this ultra-luxury limousine has not yet been locked in for the Australian market. Local pricing strategies are typically withheld until closer to the vehicle’s late-2026 showroom arrival. But it could easily be one of Australia’s most expensive cars.

2027 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class interior: Quieter and more luxurious
The interior has been redesigned from the steering wheel through to the centre console, with a stronger focus on creating a calm, private environment. Its luxury features include:

New MB.OS technology

Rear passengers receive two 13.1-inch screens with individual remote controls. They can manage entertainment, climate settings and window blinds, while built-in cameras support video calls.
The virtual assistant uses technology from Microsoft and Google, including ChatGPT 4o, Bing Search and Google Gemini. It can hold longer conversations, remember previous interactions, and appears as a rose-gold Mercedes star.
Regular wireless updates will add or improve entertainment, vehicle and driver-assistance functions.
Almost limitless personalisation
The MANUFAKTUR program offers more than 150 exterior paints and over 400 interior colours. New choices include a sparkling black finish, Verde Silver Magno and four new two-colour cabin combinations.
The Made to Measure service goes further, and offers historic paint colours, personalised leather, stitching and decorative finishes through individual consultations and a digital visualiser.
Bottom line
The updated Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is locked in for an Australian arrival during Q4 2026. Its biggest changes are a bolder illuminated exterior, a more indulgent rear cabin, first-time leather-free trim, MB.OS technology, smarter suspension and an enormous customisation catalogue.
Australian pricing and full specifications are still to come, but the refreshed limousine is clearly focused on making every journey quieter, more personal and even more extravagant.
