Key highlights:
- Brabus P900 Rocket Edition produces 662kW from a 4.4-litre V8
- The modified G-Class pickup reaches 100km/h in 3.7 seconds
- Production is limited to 10 units, with extensive personalisation available
Brabus has turned the Mercedes-Benz G63 into something far more outrageous with the P900 Rocket Edition. This limited-run creation combines a heavily modified twin-turbo V8, supercar-like acceleration, a lowered suspension and a pickup-style cargo bed.
It’s built more for making a statement on smooth roads than tackling rough tracks, despite its G-Class roots. Brabus will build just 10 examples, with the pictured vehicle carrying a price tag of €711,718 (A$1,130,948) before personalisation options.

Brabus P900 Rocket Edition: Performance figures
Brabus has retained the G63’s twin-turbocharged V8 but increased its capacity and upgraded several major engine components, and the result is a substantial jump in performance.
| Specification | Brabus P900 Rocket Edition |
|---|---|
| Engine | Twin-turbocharged V8 |
| Displacement | 4.4 litres (+0.4 litres) |
| Power output | 662kW at 6,200rpm |
| Maximum torque | 1,250Nm at 2,900rpm |
| Torque limit | 1,050Nm |
| 0–100km/h | 3.7 seconds |
| Production | 10 units |
| Price of pictured example | €711,718 (about A$1,130,948) |
Brabus has enlarged the cylinder bores to 84mm and fitted forged pistons, a custom billet crankshaft and two larger turbochargers running at 20psi. An upgraded fuel system, new downpipes and a stainless-steel exhaust support the engine changes.
A tuned engine control unit (ECU) brings the components together to deliver 662kW and although the engine produces 1250Nm torque, Brabus limits the figure to 1050Nm to protect the transmission.
Brabus hasn’t disclosed the vehicle’s kerb weight, but claims the P900 Rocket Edition can accelerate from 0–100km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
A G-Class transformed into a pickup

The P900 Rocket Edition isn’t just a power upgrade; Brabus has reworked the G-Class body and converted its rear section into a pickup bed. The conversion includes a newly engineered steel bulkhead behind the rear seats, complete with a heated rear window.
Metal forms the bed floor and tailgate, while lightweight carbon fibre makes up the side panels. Brabus hasn’t stated how much cargo the bed can carry, but given the vehicle’s dramatic styling and road-focused setup, the bed may be more useful for appearances than regular hauling.

Lower stance, 24-inch wheels and dramatic styling
Brabus describes the P900 Rocket Edition as a road-focused supercar. It isn’t literally a supercar, but its lowered suspension, huge wheels and extensive bodywork clearly prioritise road presence over off-road practicality.
Aftermarket coilovers lower the vehicle by 1.8 inches compared with a standard G-Class, and it also rides on 24-inch wheels with black spokes and carbon-fibre aerodynamic trim.
Other exterior changes include:
- A redesigned front bumper with enlarged air intakes and carbon-fibre accents
- A black Brabus grille with an illuminated emblem and glowing shroud
- A new bonnet
- Carbon-fibre flared wheel arches
- New side steps
- Tailpipes that glow red
- A matte-black steel sports bar above the pickup bed
With its low stance and large wheels, the P900 Rocket Edition looks far more at home on smooth pavement than on gravel or dirt.
Red-and-carbon-fibre cabin

Brabus has also extensively reworked the interior, combining new leather upholstery with genuine Alcantara and red quilted stitching. Red finishes extend to the door handles, air vents and speaker grilles.
Carbon-fibre trim features throughout the cabin, while a redesigned steering wheel adds another bespoke touch, and Brabus has also modified the doors so they can open up to 90 degrees.
Just 10 examples worldwide
Brabus will limit production of the P900 Rocket Edition to just 10 units. The pictured example costs €711,718, equivalent to approximately A$1,130,948, although the final price will vary considerably depending on the buyer’s personalisation choices.
