Key highlights:
- Denza adds 17 regional service points through BYD dealerships
- BYD holds over 580,000 spare parts worth more than $25 million
- Denza delivered 3,339 vehicles by Sep 2026, led by the B5 and B8
Denza is expanding its Australian after-sales network beyond major cities, adding 17 authorised service points at existing BYD dealerships over the coming months. This aims to give owners better access to servicing, repairs and technical support when travelling through regional Australia.
Although Denza operates a separate premium-brand network, it can draw on BYD Australia’s established parts and logistics infrastructure to support customers across the country.
Denza’s 17 new regional service locations

The new authorised service points will operate from BYD dealerships in six states and territories.
| State or territory | New service locations |
|---|---|
| New South Wales | Orange, Dubbo, Tamworth, Nowra |
| Northern Territory | Darwin |
| Queensland | Mackay, Bundaberg, Rockhampton |
| South Australia | Mount Gambier |
| Victoria | Wodonga, Bendigo, Ballarat, Traralgon, Warrnambool |
| Western Australia | Geraldton, Bunbury, Albany |
Depending on the location and its capabilities, these outlets can provide:
- Scheduled servicing
- General mechanical repairs
- Warranty diagnosis and repairs
- Other diagnostic and technical work
- Software upgrades

Denza says it will retain technical oversight of customer cases to ensure repairs meet factory standards, and if a service point cannot complete a particular job, the company will “determine the appropriate repair pathway on a case-by-case basis”.
These 17 locations will supplement Denza’s existing 18 dedicated sites nationwide, and the brand plans further sales and service network expansion during 2027.
Denza taps into BYD’s parts and logistics network
Although Denza vehicles may be sold through different showrooms from those of its sister brand BYD, the premium marque can use BYD Australia’s national parts and logistics network. The company says most parts orders can be fulfilled within 24 hours using distribution centres in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, and BYD currently holds:
| Parts and logistics | Figures |
|---|---|
| Spare parts availability | Around 95% |
| Components held locally | More than 580,000 |
| Value of stock held | More than $25 million |
| Major distribution centres | Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth |
The largest of BYD’s four parts and distribution centres operates in Melbourne’s outer west. The company runs the facility with SF Express, the world’s fourth-largest logistics company, which occupies 15,000 square metres of the complex.
BYD says its distribution network can deliver parts to dealerships within these timeframes:
| Destination | Expected delivery time |
|---|---|
| Local dealers | Within 24 hours |
| Most interstate dealers | Two to three days |
| Outer regional dealers | Around one week |
BYD has increased its parts inventory as its Australian business has expanded, and the company now offers significantly more models, including the Denza range, and supports a much larger number of vehicles on Australian roads.

Denza wants owners to travel further with confidence
Denza Australia chief operating officer Mark Harland says the new regional service points will make it easier for customers to travel beyond major metropolitan areas.
“Australia is a vast country, and we want our customers to explore it far and wide. The introduction of authorised servicing points gives Denza customers the confidence to travel further, knowing there is an increasingly strong support network behind them,” he said in a press release.
The expansion is particularly relevant for a brand whose sales and service network has so far concentrated mainly on large metropolitan areas.
Denza sales and upcoming model launches in Australia

Denza has delivered 3339 vehicles in Australia from the start of customer deliveries early this year through to the end of September, and most deliveries have come from its two large off-road SUVs, the B5 and B8.
| Denza model | Deliveries to end of September 2026 |
|---|---|
| B5 | 1,872 |
| B8 | 1,325 |
| D9 | 142 |
| Total | 3,339 |
The D9 people mover arrived slightly later than the SUVs and remains a much lower-volume model, and Denza plans to expand its Australian range during 2027 with two additional models:
- Denza Z9 GT: The electric shooting brake has been delayed and is now scheduled to launch in Australia during the first half of 2027.
- Denza N9: The full-size crossover SUV has secured Australian Design Rule (ADR) certification. It is expected to offer a more car-like alternative to the rugged B5 and B8, although its local launch timing remains unconfirmed.
The additional models should broaden Denza’s Australian offering beyond its current SUV-focused lineup.
