  • Buyers can save up to $8555.85 on the B5 Leopard, depending on their state or territory.

Denza has cut prices on its B5 plug-in hybrid SUV in Australia, offering discounted drive-away deals on 2025-built examples as it looks to clear existing stock.

The offer, which has been running since 1 October 2026, brings the standard Denza B5 down to $74,990 drive-away nationwide. The more expensive B5 Leopard is available for $79,990 drive-away.

The actual savings depend on where the vehicle is registered, as on-road costs vary between Australian states and territories.

According to the advertised offer, buyers can save between $3683.25 and $8230.85 on the standard B5. The B5 Leopard attracts a larger discount, with savings ranging from $3833.25 to $8555.85.

Both offers apply to new 2025-built vehicles. There have been no changes to the pricing or hardware specifications of the B5 between the 2025 and 2026 model years.

This makes the discounted stock worth considering for buyers who are less concerned about getting the latest model-year build and would rather secure a lower purchase price.

What do the Denza B5 and B5 Leopard offer?

Denza B5 price cut

The Denza B5 is positioned as a more affordable alternative to established large off-road SUVs such as the Toyota LandCruiser Prado, although its plug-in hybrid powertrain gives it a different approach to performance and efficiency.

Both variants use a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with two electric motors. The combined system produces 400kW of power and 760Nm of torque.

As a plug-in hybrid, the B5 combines a petrol engine with an externally rechargeable battery and electric motors, allowing it to operate using electric power under suitable conditions.

The standard B5 comes with fixed-height coil-spring suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels. It is the more affordable of the two variants and should suit buyers who want the B5’s performance and SUV proportions without the additional equipment of the Leopard.

The B5 Leopard adds active hydraulic suspension, which allows the driver to adjust ground clearance. It also gets larger 20-inch wheels, Nappa leather upholstery and ventilated seats.

The suspension upgrade is particularly relevant for buyers interested in taking the SUV beyond sealed roads, although the additional equipment comes at a higher price.

Denza also offers 3.99 per cent finance

Alongside the discounted drive-away prices, Denza is offering a 3.99 per cent per annum comparison rate on eligible B5 and B5 Leopard purchases financed through Denza Financial Services.

The advertised rate is based on a secured fixed-rate consumer loan of $30,000 over five years. However, the actual comparison rate can vary depending on the loan terms, fees and charges.

The promotional finance offer has specific deadlines. Applications must be approved by 30 November 2026, with contracts settled by 11 December 2026.

Denza has also specified a 36-month loan term and a maximum balloon payment of 30 per cent. A $1495 dealer origination fee applies, while government charges are excluded.

It is not clear whether customers can combine the discounted drive-away pricing with the promotional finance rate, so buyers should confirm the available offers and final repayment figures with a Denza dealer before signing a contract.

Is the Denza B5 worth considering?

The price reduction makes the B5 more competitive for buyers considering a large plug-in hybrid SUV, particularly those who want substantial power and additional off-road-oriented hardware.

However, the distinction between the 2025-built stock and newer model-year vehicles is worth keeping in mind. While Denza has not introduced hardware or pricing changes between the two model years, buyers should still check the vehicle’s build date and warranty commencement details before purchasing.

The advertised drive-away pricing also makes it important to compare the final purchase cost rather than simply looking at the headline discount.

For buyers who are comfortable with a 2025-built vehicle, the current offer could provide a worthwhile saving on Denza’s large plug-in hybrid SUV.
