GAC has confirmed a major showcase for the 2026 Auto China motor show in Beijing, headlined by the debut of its first-ever off-road vehicle and the launch of a new premium electric sub-brand developed in partnership with Huawei’s automotive arm.

The Chinese automaker is set to present a broad mix of new models and future mobility concepts, underlining its ambitions across high-performance EVs, electrified off-roaders, and next-generation transport technologies.

Aistaland GT7: Premium EV flagship

At the centre of GAC’s premium push is the newly formed Aistaland brand, co-developed with Huawei. Designed to rival established luxury performance marques such as Porsche and Lotus, Aistaland’s first model will be the GT7 shooting brake, a high-performance electric wagon.

The GT7 is expected to feature an advanced 800-volt electrical architecture and a tri-motor setup, delivering strong performance alongside improved efficiency. It will also support Level 3 autonomous driving, placing it among a growing group of vehicles capable of conditional hands-free operation in certain environments.

In terms of design, the GT7 appears to take inspiration from the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, combining a low-slung, sporty profile with the added practicality of a wagon body style. Pricing is expected to sit in the one-million yuan range in China, equivalent to approximately $205,000, positioning it firmly in the premium EV segment.

T75 off-roader: GAC enters the rugged segment

Alongside its luxury EV ambitions, GAC will also unveil its first dedicated off-road SUV, known internally as the T75. The model is expected to use a plug-in hybrid powertrain and signals the brand’s entry into the rapidly expanding electrified off-road category.

The T75 is expected to compete with models such as the Denza B5, GWM Tank 300 PHEV, and Yangwang U8 vehicles that combine traditional off-road capability with electrified performance. Its debut is also likely to provide an early look at the platform and technology that could underpin future GAC plug-in hybrid utes.

With rivals such as the BYD Shark 6 and upcoming Chery utes gaining momentum, GAC’s move into this segment highlights its intent to compete in both lifestyle and utility-focused markets.

Future mobility: Flying cars and robotics

The company will also showcase its Govy AirCab, a multi-rotor autonomous flying vehicle that it claims is being prepared for mass production pointing to its ambitions beyond conventional road transport.

Rounding out the display, GAC will present its GoMate Mini humanoid robot, reflecting a growing trend among automotive manufacturers to integrate artificial intelligence and robotics into their ecosystems.

With a diverse lineup spanning premium EVs, rugged electrified SUVs, and advanced mobility concepts, GAC’s presence at Auto China 2026 signals a clear push to strengthen its position across multiple fast-growing segments in both domestic and global markets.
