In August, we reported on the Geely Starray EM-i’s expected arrival in Australia, with pricing tipped to start from $39,990 before on-road costs. Now in September, Geely Auto Australia has officially revealed prices, and they’re even lower than we had first anticipated.

That’s around $2500–$3000 cheaper than the earlier figures, making the Starray EM-i one of the most affordable plug-in hybrid SUVs currently confirmed for Australia. Deliveries begin October 1, 2025.
Launch offers

At launch, buyers will also get access to a range of incentives, including:
- A 3.88% comparison rate finance offer, or three years/45,000km of free servicing
- A Mode 2 home charging cable
- Complimentary premium paint
Customers who order before September 30 and take delivery by November 30 can also secure a deposit-match discount of up to $1000.
Powertrain and range

All versions of the Starray EM-i use Geely’s ‘Super Hybrid’ setup, combining a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a single electric motor and an 18.4kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack.
