It may be one of the most exclusive supercars on the road, but even the Lamborghini Revuelto isn’t immune to recalls. Automobili Lamborghini S.P.A. has issued a recall notice affecting two units of the 2023–2024 Revuelto in Australia over a defect in the door gas spring mechanism.
The recall, listed under REC-006402 and campaign number L74X-R.01.25, was published on August 7, 2025.

What’s the defect, and why is it so serious?
According to the recall notice, the pin that supports the door gas springs may not have been properly assembled. This could cause the pin to loosen or detach, especially when the door is in the open position.
If the pin fails, the door may suddenly drop with significant force, potentially striking the driver or passenger. Additionally, occupants may find it difficult to open the door from the inside, which could delay their exit in an emergency.
This is especially concerning in the event of an accident or fire, where every second counts. The risk of injury increases both from unexpected door closure and slower evacuation.
Which vehicles are affected?

- Make: Lamborghini
- Model: Revuelto
- Model Years: 2023–2024
- Variants: All
- Total Affected Units in Australia: 2
A list of affected VINs has been published. Lamborghini Revuelto owners are encouraged to check if their vehicle is included in the recall.
What should owners do now?
Lamborghini will contact all affected owners directly. Customers will be asked to schedule a visit to an authorised Lamborghini dealership to have the door gas spring pins inspected and re-tightened — with rework carried out if needed, free of charge.
Though only two cars are impacted, the nature of the fault makes this a critical safety fix.
