Mahindra Automotive Australia has marked the first anniversary of the XUV 3XO’s local launch with the introduction of a new Black Anniversary Edition, a limited-run version of its compact SUV that adds exclusive styling enhancements and a more distinctive appearance.

Limited to 300 units nationwide, the special edition model will be available to reserve from August 1, 2026, priced from $27,990 drive-away.

The anniversary model arrives as Mahindra continues to expand its footprint in Australia’s highly competitive small SUV segment, where the XUV 3XO has emerged as one of the brand’s key products thanks to its extensive equipment list and sharp pricing.

Wheels car of the year recognition

According to Mahindra, the vehicle was praised by the judging panel for its combination of comfort, practicality, capability and value for money.

The recognition comes as the Indian manufacturer continues to strengthen its position in the Australian market, following the brand’s 20th anniversary in Australia in 2025.
