Mahindra just made the XUV700 one of the cheapest seven-seaters in Australia

The flagship AX7L gets a slightly smaller cut, $9000 off, landing it at $33,990 drive-away. Both offers run until October 31, 2026, though there’s a catch worth knowing about: they only apply to 2025-built vehicles.

Why is the Mahindra XUV700 so cheap? 

This isn’t a permanent price cut, it looks more like Mahindra clearing out 2025-built stock before something new rolls in. And there is something new on the way: Mahindra has already launched an updated version of this SUV in India, badged the XUV 7XO, with fresh exterior styling and a redesigned dashboard headlined by a sweeping pillar-to-pillar display setup.

There’s no word yet on whether, or when, the XUV 7XO will land in Australia to replace the current XUV700. For now, this looks like Mahindra making room and rewarding buyers who move quickly.
