Key highlights:

  • One-off Porsche 911 Turbo S celebrates 75 years in Australia
  • Sealed-bid registration closes November 16, 2026, at 5 pm AEDT
  • Porsche pledges $75,000 in charity to Make-A-Wish Australia

Porsche will auction a one-off 911 Turbo S celebrating 75 years of the brand in Australia, pairing its bespoke finish with an exclusive 2027 Australian Grand Prix experience. The invitation-only sale will also support Make-A-Wish Australia, with Porsche Cars Australia pledging a $75,000 donation.

The one-of-one collector’s piece is created by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch special-request customisation team and is created in collaboration with Sydney-based contemporary artist Werner Bronkhorst. The 911 Turbo S Land Down Under will go to the successful bidder through a sealed-bid process by November 2026.

Australian landscapes inspire the one-off design

Porsche worked with artist Werner Bronkhorst, known for his intricate miniature artworks, to create the car’s distinctive exterior and cabin treatments.

The body transitions from exclusive Terra Australis Red to Southern Cross Blue, with a colour-shifting finish inspired by Australia’s changing landscapes, and its hues evoke desert orange, dusk-sky blue, eucalyptus green and sunrise gold.

The shimmering effect comes from ultra-thin Chromaflair pigments, and each tiny flake contains a reflective aluminium core wrapped in a transparent, glass-like layer of varying thickness. Southern Cross Blue also covers the alloy wheels, which measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.

Other exterior details include:

  • Ghost-effect roof artwork: A special painting technique subtly reveals the number ‘75’ in Bronkhorst’s distinctive font
  • A cheeky rear-spoiler message: The active spoiler displays ‘See ya later mate’ when Sport Plus mode activates, or the spoiler deploys above 80km/h

Bespoke cabin celebrates Australian craftsmanship

The Australian theme continues inside, where Porsche has created Coolibah Brown leather specifically for this car and paired it with Dark Night Blue leather.

The seats feature a unique perforated pattern inspired by Bronkhorst’s paintbrush technique, and hand-finished Australian Silky Oak wooden inlays add another local touch.

The roof lining carries an embroidered map of the southern hemisphere’s constellations as they appeared above Uluru in 1951, which was the year the first two Porsche 356 sports cars arrived in Australia.

Bronkhorst’s miniature artworks appear throughout the cabin and on the doors, which include a farmer and his loyal companion on a door, a wedge-tailed eagle inside the cabin, and a kangaroo with its joey on the passenger-side dashboard.

Porsche 911 Turbo S keeps its hybrid performance

Despite its unique styling, the Land Down Under retains the standard 992.2-generation 911 Turbo S powertrain with the T-Hybrid performance setup. Porsche intentionally left the mechanical components completely stock for this project, and they focused their customisation on the 300-hour external hand-painted work and the design elements inside.

  • Three nights of premium accommodation

  • A hosted dinner for two with artist Werner Bronkhorst and Porsche Cars Australia CEO and managing director Daniel Schmollinger
  • Other exclusive Porsche VIP experiences

The invitation-only sealed-bid auction combines a unique piece of Porsche’s Australian history with a bespoke Grand Prix experience and a $75,000 contribution to children with critical illnesses.

How to bid on the Porsche 911 Turbo S Land Down Under?

Prospective buyers must register their Expression of Interest (EOI) by 5 pm AEDT on Monday, November 16, 2026, through the official Porsche Australia website to participate in a highly exclusive, invitation-only sealed bid sale process for this single 911 model.

Porsche will send eligible bidders further details about the sale process on Wednesday, November 18.

The car marks 75 years of Porsche in Australia, and the $75,000 charitable contribution will go to Make-A-Wish Australia, which grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.
