After weeks of rumours, alleged sightings and growing speculation among Jimny enthusiasts, Suzuki Australia has officially pulled the covers off the new 2026 Suzuki Jimny Rhino.

Based on the 5-door Jimny XL, the special-edition model brings the Rhino name to Australia for the first time. Limited to 250 units, the special-edition model is scheduled to begin customer deliveries from July 1, 2026.

However, while the Rhino looks tougher and more distinctive, there are no mechanical upgrades under the skin. Instead, the limited-edition model focuses on unique styling elements, exclusive badging and a special ownership package packed with Rhino-branded merchandise.

2026 Suzuki Jimny Rhino price and release date

The Jimny Rhino commands a significant premium over the regular Jimny XL range. The Jimny Rhino manual is priced $7,500 above the standard Jimny XL automatic, while the Rhino automatic carries a $10,000 premium over the regular Jimny XL automatic.  The exclusive Jimny edition is now available for sale in Australia, and deliveries are expected to begin on July 1st.

Suzuki Jimny Rhino exterior

The Jimny Rhino adds a range of exclusive exterior upgrades designed to celebrate the model’s adventurous character. The standout feature is a bespoke Rhino-themed side decal featuring a charging rhino graphic and twin stripes flowing toward the rear of the vehicle.

The design follows the rear wheel arch before finishing with Japanese script for the word “rhino” as a nod to the Jimny’s Japanese heritage and the growing popularity of JDM culture. Finished in Gloss Black and Satin Aluminium tones, the graphics complement the Rhino’s rugged styling.

Other exterior highlights of the Rhino edition include:

  • Signature Kinetic Yellow paint
  • Pearl Black painted roof
  • Exclusive Jimny Rhino decal package
  • 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with a Shuriken-inspired design
  • Satin silver side skirt garnish
  • Satin silver front bumper garnish
  • Heritage Suzuki front grille
  • Exclusive Rhino tailgate badge
  • Front and rear Suzuki mudflaps

Exclusive Kinetic Yellow Finish

One of the biggest highlights is the return of Suzuki’s eye-catching Kinetic Yellow paint, previously reserved for the three-door Jimny. The Rhino is available exclusively in this colour and pairs it with a contrasting Pearl Black roof.

Interior touches in the Suzuki Jimny Rhino

Inside, Suzuki has added a range of special-edition details to make the cabin feel more distinctive. Owners are greeted by diffused LED lighting that illuminates the ground when the doors are opened.

  • Diffused entry lighting
  • Satin silver air vent surrounds
  • Satin silver shift panel surround (automatic models)
  • Retro-style gearshift knob (manual models)
  • Black leather-wrapped door handles and passenger assist handle

  • Eight-colour customisable footwell lighting
  • Exclusive Kinetic Yellow illumination setting
  • Upgraded Pioneer speakers
  • Bespoke Jimny-logo rubber floor mats

Bottom line

The 2026 Suzuki Jimny Rhino brings a new limited-edition flavour to Australia’s popular 5-door Jimny lineup. Limited to just 250 examples, it combines exclusive Kinetic Yellow paint, Rhino-themed styling details, unique interior upgrades and a comprehensive merchandise pack.

While there are no mechanical changes, the Jimny Rhino combines exclusive sterling details, unique styling details and unique touches and a Rhino-themed ownership package for buyers seeking a more distinctive version of Suzuki’s iconic off-roader.
