Mercedes-AMG Australia has revealed pricing and specifications for the new 2026 Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Edition R, which arrives as a value-focused special edition priced below the standard CLE 53 Coupé. The company has priced it at $159,900 before on-road costs, which is slightly below the regular CLE 53.

Mercedes-AMG says the move gives buyers greater value while adding more performance-focused equipment. The Edition R becomes a new addition to Australia’s CLE-Class line-up, which launched locally in August 2024 and sits alongside the standard CLE 200, CLE 300, and the core AMG CLE 53 models.
