Genesis has added the GV60 Magma to its Nürburgring Track Taxi programme, marking the first time the brand’s new high-performance electric SUV has been used for passenger laps of the Nordschleife.
The GV60 Magma joins the existing Genesis G70 fleet, which has been operating as part of the Track Taxi programme since 2024.

Genesis expands Nürburgring Track Taxi fleet
The Track Taxi programme allows members of the public to ride shotgun with professional drivers around the 20.8km Nürburgring Nordschleife. The circuit features 73 corners and is widely regarded as one of the most challenging tracks in the world.
Genesis says almost 3,000 guests have taken part since the programme launched in 2024. During that time, the two G70 Track Taxi vehicles have completed more than 1,300 laps, covering over 27,000km.
Peter Kronschnabl, Managing Director of Genesis Motor Europe, said the addition of the GV60 Magma represents the next stage of the programme.

Genesis GV60 Magma specifications
The GV60 Magma uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain producing 478kW and 790Nm, with both motors capable of operating at more than 20,000rpm.
Genesis claims a 0-100km/h time of 3.4 seconds with Boost mode activated, while top speed is rated at 265km/h.

Brakes, tyres and chassis technology
Track Taxi-spec GV60 Magma models are equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 5S tyres and a braking package comprising 400mm discs, monoblock calipers and regenerative braking technology.
According to Genesis, the system can bring the SUV to a stop from 100km/h in 33.8 metres.
The electric SUV is also fitted with torque vectoring and an electronic limited-slip differential, which work together to manage torque distribution between the front and rear axles.

G70 continues alongside GV60 Magma
The GV60 Magma will operate alongside the Genesis G70, which has been part of the Track Taxi programme since its launch in 2024.
Powered by a 3.3-litre twin-turbocharged V6 producing 272kW and 510Nm, the G70 can accelerate from 0-100km/h in a claimed 5.4 seconds. Genesis says the sedan was originally selected for the programme due to its balance of performance, handling and passenger comfort.
The addition of the GV60 Magma gives visitors a choice between Genesis’ traditional combustion-powered performance sedan and its newest high-performance electric model.
Bookings for the GV60 Magma Track Taxi experience are now open, with passenger rides taking place at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany.
