Key highlights:
- 2027 Zeekr 7X gains up to 500kW and 790Nm in Europe
- Claimed WLTP range rises to 627km in Long Range RWD form
- Australian arrival is expected next year, but timing remains unconfirmed
The facelifted 2027 Zeekr 7X electric SUV has been revealed at the 2026 Paris Motor Show ahead of its European showroom arrival early next year, with Australian deliveries expected to follow. The update brings revised front and rear styling, subtle cabin changes, more power and slightly longer claimed driving ranges.
However, the European model misses one of the biggest upgrades introduced in China: a new 900-volt electrical architecture for even faster charging.
Australia’s launch timing remains unconfirmed, but a prototype has been spotted testing locally, and Australian arrivals typically follow Europe by around three to six months, which is in H2 2027.

More power from the existing 800-volt system
The European facelift retains the current 800-volt electrical architecture rather than adopting the Chinese model’s new 900-volt system, and Australian versions are expected to follow the European specification. Despite that, both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions gain power and torque.
| Drivetrain variant | Previous output | 2027 output |
|---|---|---|
| Single-motor RWD | 310kW / 440Nm | 335kW / 520Nm |
| Dual-motor AWD | 475kW / 710Nm | 500kW / 790Nm |
The updated outputs also bring the 7X into line with the Australia-bound Zeekr 7GT electric wagons, which are due early next year.
Zeekr has retained the existing battery options across the three model grades, and the entry-level version uses a 75kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery, while the Long Range RWD and flagship AWD variants get a 100kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) pack. The power increases bring small improvements to claimed acceleration and WLTP driving range.
| Specification | 75kWh RWD | 100kWh LR RWD | 100kWh AWD |
|---|---|---|---|
| Battery chemistry | LFP | NMC | NMC |
| System output | 335kW / 520Nm | 335kW / 520Nm | 500kW / 790Nm |
| 0-100km/h | 5.6s (-0.4s) | 5.5s (-0.5s) | 3.7s (-0.1s) |
| EV range (WLTP) | 482km (+2km) | 627km (+12km) | 545km (+2km) |
The base model’s claimed range increases by 2km, the Long Range RWD gains 12km, and the AWD adds 2km. Interestingly, these range improvements arrive despite a reported increase in on-paper energy consumption of between 0.1 and 0.6kWh per 100km.
Higher energy consumption would normally reduce range, so the reason for the improved figures is not clear from the information provided.
The facelift does not increase the 7X’s peak charging rates, and DC charging remains rated at up to 450kW for the 75kWh battery and 420kW for the 100kWh pack. Maximum AC charging remains 22kW.
Zeekr claims the following 10–80% charging times:
- 75kWh base model: As little as 10.5 minutes.
- 100kWh long-range models: As little as 15 minutes.
Those figures apply to the existing 800-volt system used by the European model.

Exterior and interior: What’s changed?

The facelift focuses on small but noticeable exterior revisions rather than a complete redesign. At the front, the 7X gets a new bumper with sportier air intakes and at the rear, Zeekr has reshaped the lower bumper and moved the number plate onto the tailgate.
Two new paint colours, Glacier Silver and Mystic Lilac, are also due to join the range next year, alongside new 21-inch alloy wheel options. Images of these new finishes and wheels have not yet been released.
Inside, Zeekr has subtly reshaped the centre console. The curved sliding cover over the cupholders makes way for a flatter arrangement, while the existing 16-inch infotainment touchscreen and 13-inch instrument display remain unchanged.
New safety hardware and parking assistance
The 2027 update also brings new Bosch-produced hardware for the advanced safety systems, and the setup comprises seven cameras and three radars. Zeekr says the updated hardware introduces “fingertip and remote parking assist”, adding new parking functions to the SUV’s technology package.
When will the facelifted Zeekr 7X arrive in Australia?
The updated 7X is expected to reach European showrooms early next year, with Australian deliveries anticipated to follow. A locally tested prototype has already been spotted, but Zeekr Australia has yet to confirm a launch date and more details on specifications and timing are expected closer to the local launch.
Chinese 2027 Zeekr 7X lineup receives a much more substantial mechanical overhaul than the export versions revealed for Europe. It gets the ultra-fast charging 900-volt architecture and Golden Brick batteries.
