The Subaru Uncharted has secured a five-star ANCAP safety rating in the latest round of safety assessments. The result forms part of ANCAP’s latest testing announcement, which also saw the Toyota Hilux BEV and Subaru Trailseeker achieve five-star ratings, while the BMW 1 Series and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé received four-star results.
The new electric SUV, which launched in Australia in May 2026, performed strongly across all four ANCAP assessment categories. The rating applies to all Subaru Uncharted variants built from April 2026 onwards.
“The addition of the Trailseeker and Uncharted to Subaru’s growing electric portfolio sees yet more safe choices for consumers,” said ANCAP Chief Executive Officer Carla Hoorweg.
